Thank you for visiting my blog
and for all of the nice
comments. These are the
patches I have used in all of
my Youtube videos. You can
download them and install
them into your own units. If
you find my patches useful
please consider downloading
a song or two from my albums
to help keep my site going. I
am now offering single song
MP3 downloads because I
know lots of people don't
have an iTunes account.
Including Me!! LOL...
Thank you for your support

Driver if necessary.

with your supported Line 6

should show you GearBox 3 as
an available product in the

• Run the GearBox 3 installer,
following the instructions on your

• Once you have Gearbox
installed on your machine. Make
sure your X3L is connected to
your computer and turned on

program will atart and
automatically read all of your
patches on your X3. Once that is
done you are ready to start
loading patches.
• Go to File>Open and point to the
downloaded patches (MAKE
SURE YOU HAVE REMOVED THE
.ZIP FROM THE END OF MY
PATCHES. THEY MUST END IN
l6t). When you open the file it will
load it into your X3 in whatever
preset number your X3 is on at
that time. If you want to save it
just hit the save button on your
X3unit twice. This will save the
preset into that location on your
X3. gearbox has been a little
buggy in the past when it comes
to importing and saving patches
but I’m sure that is all finxed now
in the lates version.
You can use this same procedure
for my XT-Live bundle.
Loading my GT-10 tones into
your own GT-10:
To load my GT-10 tones into your
own GT-10 you must first
download & install the BOSS GT-
10 USB Driver & the GT-10
Librarian software located here:
Once you have done that you can
download my GT-10 patches from
the links. You can either download
individual patches or my entire
bundle. If you download my entire
bundle YOU MUST UNZIP THE ZIP
FILE BEFORE IT WILL WORK.
The individual patches are already
in the right format for importing
into the Librarian software. Once
you have download the ones you
want here are the instructions:
With your GT-10 connected to
your computer & turned on, open
the Librarian software and go to
File>Import SMF...>"my .mid file".
This will load the patches into the
Librarian. My entire bundle
patches start at U10-1 so if your
window is not maximized you will
not see them. Maximize the
window or scroll down until you
see U10-1. My patches go from
U10-1 to U24-4. My indivdual
patches start at U40-1 thru U43-3
Once the patches are in the
Librarian, go to your GT-10 and
select a patch you would like to
over-write. Then in the Librarian
hit the "Temporary Write" button
next to the patch you want to
audition, this will temporarily load
that patch into your GT-10. If you
like it and want to keep it hit the
"Write" button again and this will
permanently install the patch to
that location on your GT-10.
